About the Label
Fox Music Records is an independent record label founded by Gemma Fox — one of the original Queens of UK Bassline and Grime. Built on the belief that artists should own their work, the label distributes music across all major DSPs while ensuring creators retain their masters and publishing rights.
Rooted in over two decades of frontline experience across Polydor, Ministry of Sound, Circus, New State, Gut Records and Night Bass, Fox Music Records brings major-label expertise to an independent, artist-first model. The label is home to a growing catalogue spanning R&B, Bassline, House, Grime, Soul and beyond.
We Don't Do AI Music
Fox Music Records is committed to real artists, real songwriting and real performances. We do not accept, release or distribute AI-generated music. Every release on the label is the product of genuine human creativity.
What We Stand For
The Label Principles
Artists Keep Their Masters
We believe in fair deals. Every artist on the label retains full ownership of their master recordings.
Distribution Across All DSPs
Your music reaches Spotify, Apple Music, TIDAL, Amazon Music, YouTube Music and every major platform worldwide.
Publishing Support
We handle PRS, MCPS and PPL registration, split management and neighbouring rights — so you get paid what you're owed.
A&R Expertise
With Gemma's background as A&R at Lion Bear Records and decades of songwriting and production experience, every artist benefits from genuine creative guidance.
Sync & Licensing
We actively pitch catalogue for TV, film, advertising and brand partnerships — opening revenue streams beyond streaming.
Artist Development
From demo development to release strategy, we support artists at every stage — including developing US-based talent such as Anamii.
